The delegation of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan headed by Mr.Mazahir Panahov, CEC Chairman visited the Kyrgyz Republic.

The main goal of the visit realized basing on the official invitation addressed by Mr Tynchtyk Shainazarov, CEC Chairman of the Kyrgyz Republic was the observation of the early Parliamentary Elections held in the country on November 30, 2025 as international observers. The CEC delegation is planned to get familiarized with the overall preparation procedures for the Parliamentary Elections up to the voting day and to observe the voting procedures at polling stations in home town on Election Day, as well.

The CEC delegation will also take part in the second session of the Advisory Platform of the heads of electoral bodies of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States, which will be held in Bishkek on November 28, 2025. The event will discuss the development of institutional cooperation in the field of electoral administration and opportunities for further expanding the relationship.

Within the framework of the visit, CEC Chairman is also planned to hold meetings with his Kyrgyz counterpart, as well as with the heads of the electoral management bodies of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States, representatives of international organizations involved in election observation and other officials. Discussions are scheduled in respect with the prospects for further deepening intergovernmental relations, new opportunities for cooperation in various fields related to elections and issues of mutual interest.

It should be noted that the CEC representatives are also reopresented in the international election observation missions of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States, the Organization of Turkic States, the OSCE/ODIHR and the Commonwealth of Independent States during the early Parliamentary elections in the Kyrgyz Republic.
