The Central Election Commission (CEC) held the session chaired by Mazahir Panahov on October 15, 2025.

First, the minute of the Commission's meeting dated June 20, 2025 was approved.

Then, the issue of terminating the powers of Ramil Sahib Hasan, a deputy of the 7th convocation of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was considered. It was reported that by the decision of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic States, a deputy of the Milli Majlis, Ramil Hasan was elected to the position of Secretary General of the organization. In this regard, his appeal to the CEC and the relevant supporting documents of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic States were examined in accordance with the legislation, and it was determined that there were grounds for terminating the powers of the deputy. Taking into account the above, the Commission adopted a decision to terminate the powers of R. Hasan, a deputy, in accordance with the requirements of the Constitution of the country and the Election Code.

The meeting then considered the issue of making changes to the composition of the Constituency Election Commissions in some constituencies. Following the discussion of the CEC members, it was decided to make changes in the structure of Sumgayit third Con.EC # 44, Guba-Gusar Con.EC # 60, Kurdamir Con.EC # 62, Salyan-Bilasuvar-Neftchala Con.EC # 65, Lankaran-Masalli Con.EC # 76, Goygol-Dashkesan-Kalbajar Con.EC # 100, Shamkir City Con.EC # 102, Agstafa Con.EC # 108 and Oguz-Gabala-Sheki Con.EC # 117.

Current issues were also considered at the meeting, which was attended by media representatives.
