The delegation of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan headed by Mr.Mazahir Panahov, CEC Chairman will leave for the Republic of Moldova to observe the Parliamentary Elections to be held in the country on September 28, 2025.

The visit to be realized basing on the official invitation addressed by Ms. Angelica Caraman, CEC Chairman of Moldova plays an essential role in expanding cooperation for strengthening relations between the two supreme electoral bodies between the two countries.

Within the framework of the visit, meetings of Mr. M.Panahov, along with other officials are planned with his Moldovan counterpart, discussions will be held on the prospects for developing long-term cooperation between electoral management bodies, opportunities for expanding mutual exchange of experience, as well as issues of interest in the field of organizing and administering elections.

The delegation will get familiarized with the overall preparation procedures for the Parliamentary Elections up to the voting day and will also observe the voting procedures at polling stations in Chisinau on Election Day.
