The delegation of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan left for Tirana to observe the Parliamentary Elections to be held in the Republic of Albania on May 11, 2025.

Based on the invitation addressed by the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Albania to the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Rovzat Gasimov, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission and Mr. Ramin Nuraliyev, Head of Department of the CEC Secretariat are participating in observing the Parliamentary Elections in Albania.

As part of the visit, the representatives of the Central Election Commission are also scheduled to hold meetings with the administration of Albanian Central Election Commission and other officials, discussions are scheduled to expand opportunities for strengthening relations between the two supreme electoral bodies and deepening the exchange of experience in various electoral fields.

The delegation will not get only familiarized with the overall preparation procedures for the Parliamentary Elections up to the voting day, but will also observe the voting procedures at polling stations on Election Day.
